Social Media Posts by Mitch Green, Portland City Councilor
Social media posts from Mitch Green, a city councilor in Portland, Ore., and democratic socialist, excoriated the police.
"As a democratic socialist, I believe in a more just and equitable society, free from the oppressive forces of excessive policing and systemic racism. It's time to hold our police departments accountable and demand a shift towards community-oriented policing."
